I know that the price of gas has fallen dramatically but we are always still looking for the cheapest price. The link above is a list of the cheapest gas prices today in the Salinas area. Maps are included! It is amazing to me that the lowest price today is $1.69 per gallon. When I started driving way back in 1979 the price of gas was only $1.00 per gallon. Can you believe that?

Salinas Rural Fire - Toy Drive to benefit Kinship Center

Wednesday, December 17th, 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Park & Ride Lot (Las Palmas Parkway and River Road) The Annual Salinas Rural Fire Holiday Toy Drive will be held on December 17th from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Las Palmas Ranch Park & Ride Lot near the intersection of Las Palmas Parkway and River Road. Please donate new, unwrapped toys. The toys will benefit the many children that are part of the Kinship Center's foster care and adoption services program. Please help put a smile on a child's face this holiday!

Since the weather is nice this weekend, I plan to take some more photos and include them here. This afternoon we are going to Carmel Beach. Should be very nice and hopefully I can return with some nice shots!

Charlie is 3 years old and a big part of our family. He is my first dog and is like having a son. As you dog lovers know, dogs become an integral part of the family!

Of course, this is a good one too! We get alot of deer in our yard and Charlie wanted to have a look!
