The Smooth 98.1 FM Gaslamp Festival is Saturday May 21, 2011 in San Diego

The very popular Smooth Jazz 98.1 Gaslamp Festival is coming to town on Saturday, May 21^st in San Diego's famous Gaslamp District, a multiblock area around 4^th and 5^th Streets near just north of the San Diego Convention Center. Gates will open at 12:30 and performances are from 1:45 until 10 PM.

There's a stellar line of performers, both local and national bands, with performers like Jessy J, Norman Brown, Euge Groove and Steve Oliver, performing live on 2 stages (6^th and G, and 5^th and F like last year), as well as multiple smooth jazz artists hanging out at multiple club venues in the Gaslamp.

Tickets are again $29 in advance, and available at a number of locations as well as on-line. You must be 21 or older for the Smooth Jazz 98.1 Gaslamp Festival.

The crowds are usually substantial and parking is a major challenge, so plan your time accordingly. Be prepared to walk and getting there by public transportation may be a great idea.

Gaslamp Condos for Sale in Downtown San Diego

San Diego's Historic Gaslamp Quarter has become one of San Diego's most popular neighborhoods, featuring a blend of old and new building's, residential and commercial units, upscale hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, movie theatres, shops, offices, galleries and lofts.
