Why Living in the San Francisco area is so great--
Reason #2 - We know how to party and celebrate our local communities

These young women were celebrating the inauguration of Mayor Ed Lee a couple of weeks ago. Leung's White Crane will be participating in the Chinese New Year's festivities. The Year of the Dragon begins on January 23, while the Chinese New Year parade in San Francisco is set for Saturday, February 11.
Good times to be enjoyed by thousands!

Living in San Francisco - A November Sunday
There's always an adventure to be had, something special to enjoy here in San Francisco. Today is no exception, with free time until 1:00 PM, when paperwork chores must get started.
After a cup of French Roast coffee while surfing the web, we breakfasted on a delicious mushroom omelette, courtesy of my husband, Gene. Then we walked the 1.3 miles to City Hall.
I took advantage of early voting (election day is this coming Tuesday), then enjoyed shopping at the "Heart of the City" farmers' market at International Plaza.
By Noon we were back home, with a kitchen full of fresh vegetables, a variety of mushrooms, some freshly packaged trail mix, a piece of salmon, apples -- even a potted anthurium to brighten up the condo.
Refreshed and nicely exercised, it's time to whip out the work while a nice pot of bean-barley soup simmers on the stove, and vegetables roast in the oven. My kind of November Sunday in San Francisco.

The Artani, down the street from yesterday’s featured post about Symphony Towers, has a few condos left for sale as well.
While it hasn’t been marketed for nearly as long (when the sales market originally headed south, the developer pulled the building and rented units. As those units have become vacant, they have been placed on the market for sale).

Symphony Towers in San Francisco, CA recently announced some phenomenal deals on their final inventory of condos for sale.
Symphony Towers, which originally went on the market several years ago, has slashed prices on their remaining units. They've got studios on the top floor that have been reduced by over $100,000, and include a parking spot. Given what owners on the lower floors have paid for their homes, I imagine that they are none too happy about this. The building started selling in 2008, and it sounds like the developer is ready to be done with this project!
The building has 130 units, and is FHA financing approved with a down payment as low as 3.5%.
