Again, last June 2011 the city of San Mateo started the 2011 Central Park Musical Series!
Staring last June 23, 2011 through August 11, 2011, every Thursday Evening from 6:00pm to 8:00 P.M. Each year the city of San Mateo sponsors these events.

The events are Free and fun. It's a great excuse to dance the night away and at the same time socialize with friends, meet new people and share a free and fun evening with your family.

The San Mateo Central Park Musical series is a San Mateo signature summer event. It is one of my favorite outdoor events. Last year I invited the “Bay Area Latin Culture & Salsa SABOR” We are a group of salsa lovers, all over the Bay Area. We get together to share our passion for salsa. All the events are great, but the Salsa and Samba Nights are my favorite

The tax credit has been extended to September 2010 but it is only for buyers who have been under contract as of April 30. The extension only applies to transactions that have been ratified (contracts signed by all parties on or before April 30, 2010). This will allow buyers that have submitted an offer on short sale transaction, which has been delayed in getting the approval from the lenders, to be able to get the tax credit. Now the new homeowner can still get the benefit of the $8,000 tax credit. California still has their $10,000 tax credit program available.

• Tax deductions: The IRS Let you deduct the interest you pay on your home mortgage, property taxes and in most cases closing cost when you buy a home.

• Affordability: home affordability is at its highest. Current interest rates are at historically lowest point; home prices are the lowest since 2003. These combinations are making home purchase very attractive.

The inventory is up and Sales are trending down recently. While days on the market appears to be trending down, the overall numbers of sales are weakening a bit.  

 Demand level is low comparative to the available inventory. The sale has been consistently low for several weeks. Sales demand level are low in comparison to the available inventory. It is a buyer's market and prices continue to fall.

March 31, 2010. there are 110 homes currently active for sale in the city of San Mateo inventory and has increased  slightly during the weeks of March 15 through 31 in comparison with the first week March, but the highest inventory of active homes for sale in San Mateo was reported during the week March 15 to 22.

March 31, 2010. There are 103 Condo/Townhome available homes for sale in San Mateo The inventory (Condo/Townhome) for sale in San Mateo was reported the highest during the first two weeks of March 2010 and has decreased through the end of the month. The number of sold condo/Townhome has increase.
