I'm thinking that my 2011 goals are what I'm doing to get ready for change, rather than having a "resolution" - I'll plan my year, and work harder than ever and make my clients very happy, I'll have goals for my business and for my personal life and as long as I'm making friends along the way, it's all good.
Any way out 2011 Goals? Would love to hear them.
And of course, I'll never be too busy for your referrals :)

I recently came across one of those Forbes articles; you know the kind, some list of some really trivial piece of information. Well this article was on the most expensive homes listed in America.
While most of the locations didn't surprise me in the least: Holmby Hills, Beverly Hills, Hawaii, Manhattan, Long Island and a few other exclusive areas that are infamous locals for the wealthy.
The property that surprised me the most was #5 on the list, Humming Bird Nest Ranch here in Simi Valley, CA that was listed for 75M. While I am very familiar with this particular property, I would have never thought that it was the #5 most expensive property on the market in America. SERIOUSLY???
It's not like Simi Valley is such a playground for the rich and famous, quite the contrary. Simi Valley is a small, suburban city on the border of Los Angeles county and Ventura county surrounded by the Santa Susana Mountains and the Simi Hills, west of the San Fernando Valley and east of the Conejo Valley. Simi Valley is a middle class location with a majority of the population being small, young families.
The Humming Bird Nest Ranch is named after the tiniest of birds, this property spans 123 acres. In addition to a 17,000-square-foot Spanish-Revival-style main house, six guest homes and 10 townhouses grace the estate, as does a fully equipped equestrian center and parking for 200 vehicles. If driving doesn't suit you, there's also a helicopter pad.
It's quite a beautiful place really but I just would have never thought of it as being the #5 most expensive listing in America. Furthermore, who buys places like this? Hmmm...
