That's right! No mistake! In the community of Sugarloaf, you can now buy a small get-a-way cabin for
$99,900.00. I know what you're thinking. It must be a short sale or fractional ownership, but neither is true. One of the cabins is a bank owned, but the other is a home owners just want to sell. It's been five years since I've seen prices this low in Sugarloaf. With the prices of homes coming down, you can get some real bargains in Sugarloaf.
Here is just one example of a good value currently being offered for sale by Coldwell Banker's Mountain Gallery Realtors. This is a 2 bedroom, a bath cabin in Sugarloaf. The square footage of the cabin is 608, so it's a smaller cabin but it sits on a 5000 square foot lot. The seller paid $169,000.00 for it and put a lot of money into the new deck out front. The interior decor is rustic and there is no way to escape the mountain feel that you have while inside this cabin.
This cabin shows a motivated seller as it is priced at only $149,000.00. On top of that, the owner will carry a first trust deed with a respectable down payment.

Big Bear City has not dropped below the $100,000.00 price tag yet but it is getting close. This rustic cabin was built in 1932, is 444 square feet , 2 bedrooms, 3/4 bath and sits on a 4000 square foot lot. This property features a seasonal stream behind it and sits in a very nice section of Big Bear City. This little gem is listed for only $115,000.00
If you have had clients who have been waiting for that deal, then bring them on up to Big Bear and come and see me. There are too many great buys to mention in this blog. For more information on these or other great deals in Big Bear, hit me up and I'll be happy to help you out.
