A couple weeks ago, Michelle and I attended Twin Peaks Community Church, located at 26032 Hwy 189. We enjoyed the worship and the message and will, happily, return in the future.

At that service, they announced the Strawberry Festival that they would be having the following Sunday afternoon. We decided it would be a great way to spend some family time together and, even better, it was free!

We showed up with our three children in tow and found our way to the back area of the church. We were each handed a strip of tickets (for free, though they asked for a donation that we gladly gave) and the kids received bags for all of their "prizes." We then were ushered into a building where they were serving hot dogs, drinks, chips, and strawberry shortcake - all for the price of one ticket.

Out back, we found a world of game booths, pony rides, bobbing for strawberries, rock-climbing walls, face painting, strolling musicians and more. We were astounded! The children had a marvelous time as you can see from the pictures above.

Definitely plan to attend next year - we'll be there without a doubt. We were completely impressed with the quantity and quality of what they offered at the Strawberry Festival and we know you will enjoy it too.
