The Pond is a ‘pocket neighborhood’ nestled between Pond Lake and Standley Lake Regional Park Wildlife Refuge. It is a private, covenant-controlled community, built in the early 1970s to early 1980s.
Community members enjoy the use of a clubhouse, pool and tennis courts in addition to strolling around the private pond.
The Pond is popular for its quiet streets, trails where members can enjoy the sights and sounds of Pond Lake, and great location in North Arvada. Another thing residents like is the vicinity to the Standley Lake Library.
One main street meanders through The Pond – Independence Way – with lots of cul-de-sacs and loops, giving the neighborhood even more of a private feel.
The Pond children attend school at Weber Elementary, Moore Middle School, and Pomona High School.
Currently, there are no homes for sale or under contract in The Pond. Seven homes have sold in the past year. Their prices were as follows:
$170,000 (sold at auction)
$210,000 (a ‘cluster home’ with no basement, only 10 days on the market)
$215,000 (also a ‘cluster home’, 53 days on market)
$230,000 (‘cluster home’, 100 days on market)
$275,000 (‘cluster home’, 54 days on market)
$328,000 (117 days on market)
$337,000 (116 days on market)
$456,000 (41 days on market)
