Southshore in Aurora Colorado – Pulte Huntington
Pulte Homes has some great homes in Southshore which is in Aurora Colorado just south of the Aurora Reservoir.
They have model homes at the Southshore location which I took time to go through today and snap some pictures.
The Huntington model is very nice. It is a Two Story with 3,752 square feet and has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There is also a den upstairs which can be converted into a 5th bedroom if desired. This home has a huge gourmet kitchen, a large family room and a formal living and dining room.
The master suite has a huge walk in closet and luxurious bathroom complete.
The Huntington starts at $454,990.
The lake views from Southshore are incredible. They also have a boathouse and lake in the community.

Southshore in Aurora Colorado – Pulte Morningside Lane
Pulte Homes has some great homes in Southshore which is in Aurora Colorado just south of the Aurora Reservoir.

The Morningside Lane model is really something. It is a Ranch Plan with 2,816 square feet and has 3 bedrooms and 3 ½ bathrooms. This home has a nice open gourmet kitchen overlooking the family room. There is ample room in this kitchen to prepare a feast for many. There is also a sunroom off of the family room which lets lots of natural sunlight shine through.
The master bedroom is on one side of the home with a huge walk in closet and luxurious bathroom.
The Morningside also has a formal dining and living room and starts at $409,900.

I had the opportunity to meet Sharon Elllis of Pulte Homes on Friday at their Southshore community in Aurora, Colorado.
Pulte Homes has a great location in Southshore. Sharon was showing me the view from her office and it is absolutely stunning!

Successful Closing in Southshore - Aurora, Colorado
Another great home in Aurora closed and now have very happy buyers. These relocation buyers found this home to be perfect with the gourmet kitchen and the spectacular views of Aurora Reservoir. This home had meticulous sellers that had definite Pride of Ownership. The home was ready to move-in and showed wonderfully.

The gourmet kitchen was the focal point for these buyers as there will be a chef in the home. This kitchen was laid out well for these buyers, and they cannot wait to have their first gourmet meal in their new home.

Southshore was the location for the 2007 Parade of Homes and features custom homes backing to the reservoir. This home was built by Village Homes, and the seller finished off the massive walk-out basement perfect for entertaining. The large trex deck will offer a prime location to watch the sun set over Aurora Reservoir. Currently there are 19 active listings ranging from $262,659 to $1,350,000. One is under contract, and 6 have sold in the last 6 months with an average price of $556,900. There are homes available from 2006 to brand new construction.

Southshore is located East of E-470, has a club house with an exercise room, a party room complete with kitchen, a theater and an outdoor pool. Southshore Community - Pulte Purchased Foreclosed Property

In 2007 Southshore was an upcoming luxury community on the Quincy Reservoir and offered $1 million homes with an upscaled clubhouse. Southshore was the feature for the 2007 Denver Parade of Homes. However, with only 14 homes complete and sold, the down housing market foreclosed on the entire property.
Pulte, a prominent builder in Denver, found this property was on the market, and moved quickly, and with one transaction in November 2009, they purchased the entire property for $14.5 million.
Plans for this luxury community includes 55 single-family homesites with five floor plans ranging from 2,816 square feet to 5,111 square feet. The homes include as many as five bedrooms, finished basements, four-car garage options and pricing from around $400,000. In September 2010, work began to finish this community and expect many move-ins to transpire in March 2011.
Pulte at Southshore will build homes priced around $500,000, much less expensive than the plans previous builders had for Southshore. With mansions not as much in demand, Pulte hopes to build quality homes less expensive. Currently in the Denver market homes priced over $700K have struggled this year.
According to City of Aurora, new home construction remains slow, although slightly above 2009 new starts. To-date a total of 475 permits for new single family homes have been issued. (Same time 2009, 343 permits were issued)
Pulte has three homes currently available for March & April 2011 move-ins.

The Buckingham model with 3256 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a 3 car garage, full basement is listed at $469,490. This model features a double stair case, two story entry and family room, a gourmet kitchen, huge master suite, jack and jill bath, and a 1/2 acre homesite. The Palmer model with 2986 square feet, 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and 4 car garage, full basement is listed at $479,590. This model features a gourmet kitchen, front library/study, loft for the family upstairs as well as the spacious family room.
