Wow, what a busy 4th of July weekend and Summer is in full swing now!
Traditionally, the next 3 months are THE busy real estate sales months. With such a great selection of properties to choose from in all price ranges, plus great prices, we expect to continue this tradition!
Properties that are priced right are selling!
Since the first of June to date, there are 93 new pending sales county wide. Now that may not sound like much, but there were only 200 that sold from beginning of the year through May! So it is a good start, going into the 3rd quarter of the year.
In Breckenridge there are 31 pending sales. 12 are under $499,000, 10 sales between $500,000 and 995,000 and 9 sales for over the one million mark.
Those of you following the Summit County and Breckenridge market, it is one the best times in 15 years to make your move for a mountain get-away!
Referrals welcome.

Before Breckenridge became a world famous ski resort, it was a town. A mining town but a great quaint Victorian town. Over the past 150 years, the spirit of the town hasn't changed much. Part outcast, beautiful, frontier living, and relaxing. With Breckenridge's 150th anniversary taking place in 2009, it is important to reflect on the history, heritage and especially the characters that made this Victorian mining town what it is today.

Breckenridge, Colorado, established in 1859 continues to celebrate its 150th anniversary over the Independence Day weekend.
Come join in the fun with a myriad of events that have been planned for this upcoming Independence Day weekend celebration. A brief review follows:
The weekend starts off Friday night, July 3rd with the National Reportory Orchestra's 50th/Breck 150th Anniversary Bash at the Beaver Run Resort. Go to www.nromusic.com for more information.
Not into classical music? Then see Jim Salestrom, a nationally known local musician perform at our Riverwalk Center on Friday night as well.
Saturday, the 4th of July starts out at 8:00 a.m. with a 10K trail run and then later The Firecracker 50 Marathon Mountain Bike National Championships.
What is an Independence Day celebration without a Parade? It is held on Main St. Breckenridge at 11:00 a.m. See lots of patriotic, as well as, crazy floats, local and statewide dignitaries - all that you would expect in a "firecracker day" parade!
More events, music and great food for all.
