Castle Pines North Homes For Sale By School Boundaries | Timber Trail Elementary School

Steve Scheer - Highlands Ranch Real Estate - Denver Real Estate: Real Estate Agent in Highlands Ranch, CO

When searching for a home in the Denver suburbs, school boundaries are sometimes a very important qualifier for the search location. While Colorado is an open enrollment state, the opportunity to enroll children at any public school only exists if there is room. Some schools are at or near capacity, and living within the school's geographic boundaries can sometimes be the only or best way to be certain of enrollment. Additionally, if you do not live within the school boundaries, school bus will not be a transportation option for you.

Timber Trail Elementary is a K - 6 school in Castle Pines North and part of the Douglas County School District. Timber Trail is on the "Modified" school calendar. This calendar is similar to a traditional school year calendar, but the summer is a bit shorter and spring and fall breaks are a bit longer.

Timber Trail Elementary is located at the south end of Castle Pines North off of Monarch Blvd. The boundaries for this school, Timber Trail, include homes in Castle Pines North including Daniel's Gate and a small other part of Castle Pines that is not officially considered Castle Pines North. Students that have Timber Trail Elementary as their home school elementary school will feed to Rocky Heights Middle School and Rock Canyon High School.

Here are all of the homes available for sale in the Timber Trail Elementary Elementary School boundaries. This map is a feed from the Denver MLS that will show current listings at all times. Only a maximum of 50 listings will show on this map at one time, to see more in an area, either click on that area to zoom in, or click the "View All" link at the bottom left corner of the map.

Hummingbirds - Feed Them and They Will Come!

Mike Hendren, GRI, CDPE: Real Estate Agent in Sedalia, CO

Hummingbird on feeder

We have hummingbirds - LOTS of hummingbirds! Conservatively, we estimate that we are feeding about 100 different birds.

Sometimes, it's like a fierce air-to-air battle with a dozen or more hummingbirds buzzing around fighting for a space at the "trough". Although, since we put out 2 feeders, each with 8 feeding holes, I would think there is plenty of room. But I guess, sometimes, two quarts just doesn't seem like enough for one of those tiny little guys! :-)

They're pretty amazing little birds and are the only birds that can hover and fly backwards. It's also said that because of their extremely high metabolism, they are always just a few hours away from starvation. But yet, when they migrate, they can cross 500 miles of open water in the Gulf of Mexico.

Speaking of migration, I guess this "hummingbird season" will be over soon as they head south for warmer weather. I wonder - - - will they switch from sugar water to tacos! :-)

Colorado – America's Third Best State for Business

Marianne Bandy, CRS, CDPE, GRI: Real Estate Agent in Parker, CO

Folks living in Colorado have always known how great it is to live here, and we've once again made it into the news! Coming in at #3 on the latest CNBC's list of “America's Top States for Business,” Colorado also ranked within the top 10 states on four other critical variables:

  • quality of life (#2);

  • business friendliness (#4)

  • overall current economic environment (#8), and

  • workforce (#10)

These rankings corroborate a report issued late last year by Forbes.com, which rated Colorado as the 4th best state in the country for business (using the criteria above, as well as costs, regulatory environment, and growth prospects. You may remember that this blog recently discussed a report naming the Denver housing market as America's most-improved, and the news for our fantastic city just keeps getting better.

A May report from Portfolio.com (an affiliate of the Denver Business Journal) rated Denver as having the 6th best quality of life in America. This ranking was based on:

  • rate of population growth;

  • education level;

  • rate of home ownership;

  • mortgage and rent affordability;

  • percentage of newer and larger houses;

  • home value;

  • median household income;

  • shortest commute times, and

  • unemployment rates

Bringing things even closer to home, a report from CNN's Money.com found that people with Highlands Ranch, Colorado homes are, happily, in the 12th “Best Small City in America.”

Now is the time to plan your move to Denver, one of the very best cities in the country – by all measures. The Bandy Team is ready to make your search for a Denver home a relaxed and easy experience.
