Ask anyone who has been a Pilates instructor or student and they will tell you, it is all about the core. I found myself nodding my head yes but the rest of me saying no to taking a Pilates class until a friend came along who needed help finding a rental house. She happens to be the owner of a Colorado Springs Pilates Studio and a nationally regarded instructor.

Pilates Plus offers a wide variety of classes including machines (reformers), mat work, Kettle Bells, Mens Power Yoga (yes it really does make a difference and some have very good experiences with other sports like Golf as a result of their Yoga class).

What I discovered is that the muscles I thought were my core were not. Working in a Pilates class was simple but not easy. The effect has been better muscle tone, posture, fitness and less injury as a result of "exercise" in all my other activities that I just cannot seem to give up.
