Summerfield is a very popular community in Briargate, which is in the north / central part of Colorado Springs. To the north and east is a huge open space and the Lulu Pollard Park is in the middle of the community.

Also in the community are two highly acclaimed Academy District 20 schools, Mountain Ridge Middle School and Academy International Elementary School.
Located between I-25 and Powers Blvd., Summerfield is very convenient for reaching any location in Colorado Springs.

The South gate of the Air Force Academy is just over 5 minutes away.
There are numerous technology, and financial companies nearby including USAA, FedEx and Progressive Insurance.
Major not for profit organizations located nearby include Focus on the Family and Compassion International.

Just around the corner from Summerfield is the new Memorial Hospital. There are a wide variety of doctors’ offices nearby.
The community is also close to several major fitness centers including the VillaSport, Lifetime Fitness and the Briargate YMCA. Adjacent to the YMCA is John L. Stone Park which includes a popular skateboard park.

The Pikes Peak Library District has been recognized as one of the top 10 in the nation. The Briargate branch is about 1 mile away.
The Summerfield community is comprised of 170 homes built between 1993 and 1995.
Total square footage ranges from 2,700+ to 5,100+ with an average of 3,500+ square feet.

158 houses, 93%, are two story.
12 houses, 7%, are one story.
The houses average 4.4 bedrooms with a maximum of 8 bedrooms.
