What is University Park Colorado Springs?

In the Northeast Colorado Springs real estate area of El Paso County is the University Park Subdivision. The Subdivision is in the City of Colorado Springs real estate area and backs to the spectacular Austin Bluffs Open Space. The Open Space is 585.5 acres in area and has trails winding throughout the open space. University Park was established in 1979-1980 with some homes built prior to the 1970s in the community. Many of the homes in University Park are custom built homes. The University Park real estate area is a combination of established homes and newer custom homes. Range View Heights is considered part of University Park and was established in 1956. The University Bluffs and University Heights neighborhoods were established in 1997-2003. The University Bluffs and University Heights neighborhoods are situated on a bluff and overlook the City of Colorado Springs. The homes in these secluded neighborhoods have breathtaking views of the Front Range and the City. Other neighborhoods near University Park Colorado Springs

To the west of the University Park Subdivision is the Austin Bluffs Open Space. The Space encompasses open spaces from Pulpit Rock, University Park and Austin Bluffs real estate areas. Areas to the south and east are residential neighborhoods with the Austin Bluffs Park and Garden Ranch Park. Residential areas are also located to the north, as well as some business developments.

University Park is an approximate 9 minutes, or 4.80 miles from the south entrance of the USAF Academy. There are several homes near the Air Force Academy, homes near Peterson Air Force Base (20 minute commute) and homes near Fort Carson (20 minute commute.) The Park is less than 10 minutes from Interstate 25 for your easy access to Monument, Castle Rock, Denver, and Pueblo areas.
