Sun on fresh, crisp snow makes for a world of sparkles and child-like joy. Boy do I love this town...
My parents are moving from Texas to Colorado next year, God willing, and have been grilling me about how our winters. I assured them at Thanksgiving that it was never 'that bad' or 'that cold' here in Fort Collins. Then we returned to town for over a week of near zero temps and multiple snow storms. Since I'm now eating those words, I can report that they are crisp and cold with ironic overtones.
Happy Holidays!

Fall harvest has arrived in force this week. The mornings are hinting at the winter to come but the days have been absolutely perfect. Our gardens have reached the end of their grow cycle and it seems like everything is doing it’s part to get off picked before the cold hits – tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, squash, basil and some huge pumpkins. Here is a glimpse at our family garden, enjoying the warmth while it can!

I love a good garage sale and I love getting out to meet my neighbors. This weekend I'll get to do both!
Please join me at this years Annual Provincetowne Garage Sale on Friday and Saturday (August 6th and 7th) from 8am to Noon. Provincetown is a great neighborhood just south of Trilby off of Lemay (Westside).
They will have furniture, household items, appliances, decorations, toys, tools (free standing hydraulic press anyone?), jewelry and more!
Looking for more information on the Provincetowne Fort Collins Neighborhood? I'd be happy to show you around and tell you about my 'neck of the woods'! Just call me at 970-449-3102 or find me on one of the great sites listed below.
