Green Mountain Falls Offers True Colorado Lifestyle

Green Mountain Falls is a small (5 square miles), tucked community located about 13 miles west of Colorado Springs. With the natural beauty of the mountains and The Pike National Forest available if not out your back door just down the street. Fountain Creek flows through the valley and is a feature that can be found on some properties. With Woodland Park (a slightly larger community) just West of town less than 10 miles, you can still find great restaurants and activities including wintertime ice skating on the lake located in the center of town.

For outdoor lifestyle lovers backpacking, hiking trails and millions of acres of National Forest are right here. Don't forget fishing, swimming at the municiple pool, tennis and golf. With Pinecrest Stables in Green Mountain Falls you have the option of boarding horses or using their arenas (indoor and outdoor).

With Green Mountain Falls tucked into the Foothills and the side of Pikes Peak, many homes in this area remind me of mountain chalets with the traditional picturesque setting of tucked with huge pine trees, incredible rock formations and at times, Fountain Creek streaming by.

The commute down Ute Pass (ie Hwy 24) to Colorado Springs is short and easy with the highway being very well maintained all year long.
