Here is my predictions for the American League Central in 2011...the order of finish...
1. Minnesota Twins
2. Detroit Tigers
3. Chicago White Sox
4. Cleveland Indians
5. Kansas City Royals
The Twins are obviously the class of this division and should have an even stronger bullpen then last year...if the stars can stay healthy all year (that has not happened in a while) they could win it all. The White Sox have a series closer issue and will fade again. The Tigers need to stay healthy to contend...and Miguel Cabrera needs to stay out of trouble (not likely). The Royals and Indians chances are laughable.

I have been posting quite a bit lately to update much of the information that I posted back in 2007 and 2008 about different Highlands Ranch neighborhoods/ subdivisions.
I still have many to go, but here are the ones that I have posted here thus far. I have included links to IDX search, so that if there are homes available for sale that are listed in the Denver MLS - they will appear on each page. As I add more Highlands Ranch neighborhood postings, I will add the links here.
If you have any questions or would like to see any of these Highlands Ranch homes for sale, just let me know!
Enjoy!

Regardless of the snow, if your home is for sale in the Denver area and you have showings today, you better take them seriously. Because if anyone is out in this weather, you better bet they are a serious buyer.
Please be sure you have your sidewalks and driveways cleared of all snow and hazards. I have trudged through numerous driveways over the the years with buyers that snow is not cleared. And I have to tell you, every now and then a home buyer will just have had enough and not even get out of the car. This is especially true if they are a Denver relocation client, in from out of town and maybe not prepared for the weather. Do not loose a potential sale because of something that is very much under your control. Not to mention the hazard of someone falling while trying to get in your house.
Once you’ve done your part and the buyers get inside, you may want to have a sign asking to remove their shoes or provide shoe covers. Most people are respectful and may just remove their shoes anyway, some don’t. In any case, make this request obvious right as they enter so they won’t miss it.
Something not so evident – clear the back steps or deck a little too. Highlands Ranch home buyers will likely want to step out back, especially if they are already “feeling it” with your home. It is no secret that Coloradoans love the outdoors and they love to spend time in their own back yard. Even though there is a blanket of white out there, if they are serious about your house, they will want to open up that back door a peek outside so make it easy for them. They will appreciate it and so will you if you see their real estate contract come your way!

Snow and more s
now in the Highlands Ranch Golf Club!
It took me an hour and a half to drive to the HR Golf Club for what normally takes about 24 minutes last night. After taking the lead to pave the way in my four wheel drive for a friend who was following me, we had to abandon her station wagon in a parking lot! In a matter of about 30 minutes we had about 5 to 6 inches of snow, making driving and visibility tough.
Once home in my HR Golf Club neighborhood, the real challenge was trying to drive over the snow bank in front of my garage. I finally made it after the third try.
In spite of the snow, living in the HR Golf Club has its pleasures.
The HR Golf Club has over 700 homes, some of which are semi and custom single family properties, as well as beautiful townhomes. The neighborhood boasts a beautiful year round public course. Many of the homes have spectacular mountain views, are located on the HR Golf Club Course and the Highline Trail.
In 2006, we bought a foreclosure in the HR Golf Club and gave the home a face lift and finished basement. After our last daughter left for college we decided to downsize into an HR Golf Club Town Home Community called Birkdale. The neighborhood has two Town Home communities, Birkdale and Turnbury.
The HR Golf Club Town Homes are spacious and have extra storage and over-sized two-car garages. Both the HR Golf Club Town Homes and HR Golf Club single family properties are located close to award winning schools, shopping and local Highlands Restaurants, like our favorite wine bar, Indulge.
Future plans are in the process for the light rail system to be built close to the HR Golf Club making for an easy commute to downtown Denver.
"I love living in Highlands Ranch. This town has a unique brightness and friendliness to it", says Stephanie, a local resident.
The HR Golf Club is a great neighborhood in Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Money Magazine's Number 12 Top City to live in. Great homes at great prices make the HR Golf Club a perfect neighborhood for move up Buyers right now.
