Bluffmont Heights a Walkable Community
Bluffmont Heights as one would assume is situated on the side of a bluff, this upscale enclave enjoys close-by conveniences typically found only in a more urban environment. This is by no means a mistake, Bluffmont is part of Lone Tree's long term development plan to build a walkable-urban neighborhood in the middle of suburbia!
Of course all cities begin small and grow with time, with varying end results. Not so in Lone Tree. where the master plan is detailed and well-thought out. Eventually, when all the neighborhoods are finished they will connect, with each other as well as retail, restaurants, shops, grocery all within walkable distance.
Currently residents of Bluffmont Heights enjoy the convenience of a Super Target within a few blocks. There are several restaurants to choose from also.
Recreation Too Close for Excuses
Next door to Bluffmont Heights is Douglas County's Bluffs Regional Park, a 253-acre area where trails meander around the enormous Bluff. The views for those who take this popular trail are spectacular encompasing 100 miles from north to south along the Rockies. The multi-use trails welcome hikers, horseback riders, mountain bikers and dogs (on leash).
The Lone Tree Recreation Center is located a couple blocks to the east. At the Center full services from pool, weight room, track, indoor cycling and drop-in fitness classes are offered to the public via annual passes or punch-as-you-go passes.
Praire Sky Park is a great location for kids to play on the playground or practice team sports. It is located between Bluffmont Heights and the Lone Tree Recreation Center.
Bluffmont Heights Real Estate and Homes for sale
Bluffmont was built by Toll Brothers. The homes are upscale, mostly two and three stories. The exteriors tend to be frame/brick or stucco facades. Three car garages are typical. Many homes back to open space. All are within easy distance to to Lincoln Square down the street. The community is sold out at the current time, but resales come on the market frequently.
