Have you seen the construction going on at the South Pool in the Stonegate neighborhood located in Parker Colorado? We are about to have the South Pool totally updated and added to. Form what I can tell it looks like the major improvements to the pool will be...

• New Kids pool with a zero depth entry, fountains and a huge curly slide. YEAH!
• Brand new large concessions area with clubhouse and meeting/party rooms. YEAH!
• Expanded pool deck with more chairs and there is rumored to be more shaded areas for parents with small kids and those of us not wanting to sit in the sun. YEAH!
• Stonegate is a community in Parker Colorado with about 3000 single family and muli-family homes.

Stonegate Real Estate Market Report...What homes sell for in Stonegate. I cannot wait to get to the pool this coming summer. We have needed these improvements for a few years now and I'm sure we will all be happy! Good job Stonegate!

Here's a quick update for the Stonegate Village real estate market in Parker, Colorado. This market report details the SOLD homes inside the neighborhood for the time period January 1, 2009 through July 6th, 2009.

Stonegate is a great neighborhood located in Parker Colorado with homes priced from the mid $200's to over $450,000.

If you live in Stonegate or plan on buying a home for sale in Stonegate you better know the watering restrictions. Yep we still have watering restrictions even though we haven't had a drought in several years. No worries, I think everyone is fine with it and I truly do believe that we need them since my yard looks great and I don't water half as much as I probably could.

• No watering before April 15th or after October 15th, 2009.
• Even addresses [ending in 0, 2,4,6,8,] can water on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday.
• Odd numbered address [1,3,5,7,9] can water on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
• NO Watering on Wednesdays.
• Watering is allowed between the hours of 7PM and 8AM only on your designated watering days.
• They do allow a three week grace period for new lawns installed prior to Memorial Day and after Labor Day.
• Stonegate Village Metropolitan District is in charge of our water. Their number is 303-858-9909.

My advice. Check every sprinkler head in the yard. You can inexpensively replace defective heads in about two minutes and save yourself a ton on your watering bill. Why waste your cash and all of our water. Be smart about it. If you see water running down the street every time the sprinklers are on something is wrong. You should be watering the grass not the street and sidewalk. Lowes and Home Depot sell spare parts cheap and they are simple to install.

Stonegate Garage Sale in Parker, Colorado.

The annual neighborhood Stonegate garage sale is starting this Friday June 5th. Expect garage sales all over the neighborhood on Saturday and Sunday. Stonegate is located in Parker COlorado on the north and south side of Lincoln Avenue where it intersects Jordan Road. THree miles east of I-25 on Lincoln Avenue.

Expect many sellers to be ready as early as 6:30 but most will be out and ready for business between 7 & 8 AM.

Well it's mid April and if you live in the Stonegate neighborhood in Parker Colorado that means it's time to get your stuff ready for the huge neighborhood garage sale. That's how it's been for over 15 years. We all know the drill. Your family members gather all their items they no longer need and mom and dad arrange the items on tables for sale at DEEP DISCOUNTS. Then when your 5 year old sees his old toy leaving the yard with someone else he goes into orbit. It's all good though and we all have fun. The three day weekend of sales and block parties have always been a lot of fun and many of us have made great money selling our no longer needed items. My wife made $650 her fist garage sale and she has been hooked ever since and I know many other families that make much more than that. Over the past few years I've even seen hot dog stands and snow cone stands. I think the Stonegate garage sale is our way of coming out of our winter hibernation (it seems like we all dissappear in the winter) to re-establish friendships from last year.
