Angler Mountain Ranch, Silverthorne, Colorado. Silverthorne Town Council approved final plans for the first phase of the new high-end development August 22, 2007. The project's architect, Bobby Craig, of Arapahoe Architects says that the first phase will consist of 13 duplexes, approximately 2,400 square feet each featuring natural materials such as rock and timber. They will be split between three ranch-style buildings with covered proches and pitched roofs.
The overall PUD allows for:
148 multi-family units, 62 single family home sites, 30 cabin-style homes, 92 acres of open space, public trailhead leading up to Ptarmigan Trail and a private fishing lake.

Tom Everest, land owner of Maryland Creek Ranch, got preliminary approval from the Silverthorne Town Council to build 12 more lots in this high-end subdivision proposed off of Highway 9, north of Eagles Nest subdivision. This is the first step in the land use process- the PUD amendment still needs preliminary and final approval to move ahead. This goes hand-in-hand with Everist's proposal to annex an additional 60 acres of his ranch into the town.
