Today, I rode up Emerald and was passed (on the stretch we all loathe) by a gentleman sporting Tevas, flat pedals, no helmet, backpack full of tools who was just out getting some fresh air before going to work...quintessential Steamboat!

Sunset coming down Rabbit Ears

As the snow falls overnight and the sunshine melts it off during the day, Spring is definitely here in the Yampa Valley both with weather and in the market!

It was a positive week for real estate sales with just over $11 million in transactions and over $471 in fractional/timeshare sales. Also, the contracts pending edged over 100 which hasn't happened in a few months. Showings are up, the activity and conversation has livened and more Buyers are making offers on all types of properties. The first time homebuyers tax credit of $8,000 is an excellent opportunity this year and there is inventory to support it.
