There is a lot more activity in the market around here. Over $9.8million in sales which include a couple units at the new Bear Lodge at Trappeurs, The Dakota Ridge home that was held in auction for $2.3million and a variety of other condos, downtown properties and nearly 113k in timeshare/fractional sales. It was a rather slow week as far as transactions, but showings in our office have really picked and buyers are resurrecting.

Also, in the news is that Trailhead Lodge which is located at Wildhorse Meadows is gearing up to open late May. The Lodge is a $71 million condominium project that broke ground in summer 2007. It is a five-story building that is 184,000 square feet. Custom furniture is being moved in,finishing touches on this mountain contemporary interior and Buyers are getting their financing in order.

There is a week and a half left of skiing some of the best late season skiing I have ever experienced. Seroiusly, I think we are approaching 40" of powder in the last 72 hours. It is unbelievable! There are cheap places to stay, deals on lift tickets and right now enough powder for everyone.

Also, just released is the best deal yet for season pass purchasers. $100 dollars by June 1 will secure your pass until payment in full by October 1. They have lowered the price by $100 bucks to $879 and $40 gets you Copper and Winter Park passes. Additionally, pass holders can purchase 4 tix at $50 each for friends and familiy.

Springalicious deal! 3 days for $99 bucks. Come on up for some spring powder skiing.

It was a much more brisk week in sales $6.3 million and just over 300k in fractional and time share sales. More properties are going under contract including a 6200 sf single family home in Emerald Meadows that was listed for $1.6m and on the market for 4 days. I also just learned that since the first of the year Bear Lodge at Trappeurs has put 4 units under contract. Don't keep waiting on the bottom folks.
