Cherrywood Park in Thornton CO Active vs Sold houses

In the Cherrywood Park neighborhood in Thornton Colorado, located just North of 136th Ave. and just East of Colorado Blvd there are currently 27 houses for sale priced between $159k and $345k.  In the last six months there have been 27 houses sold also between the price ranges of $150k to $360k.  That is a lot of houses being sold for that area.

The houses that have sold were listed on the market for an average of only 62 days and sold for approximately 94% of their original listed price.  This discount from original listing price is a little larger than we see in most northern metro Denver markets.  But, the time on the market to get the house sold is below average for the Denver metro  market.  That is good news for home sellers.

Cherrywood Park and Lake Avery Estates homes in Thornton, Colorado

I recently was driving in Thornton, Colorado and had the opportunity to visit many friends who I have not seen in a while.  I was also house-hunting with them as they were interested in perhaps moving to a new place.

I passed by and noticed a wonderful community Cherrywood Park.  I inquired about Cherrywood Park homes for sale for sale to see what was available for a reasonable price.  I was stoked to learn about the community highlights such as the unreal views of the mountain ranges and the cool walking trails.  I was also surprised by how close this community was to shopping areas as well as grocery stores and schools.

Although my friends were not interested in throwing down an offer right away, we drove to and saw Lake Avery Estates homes for sale.  These homes were amazing!  I got a very high-end feel about this development.  Although I could not force my friends to put a deposit down on a home here, I tried to sway them to seriously consider putting a deposit down on a home here as this was by far and away the best community.
