Ever wonder where to find that list of top ActiveRain Members?

Follow these instructions:

Go to www.activerain.com - or click on the words "ActiveRain" in the top left corner of any page to bring you to the home page. On the home page - look at the right hand side --> a ways down there is a box with all the states listed. At the top of that box click on the words "top members today". This brings up a page with todays top member (the people who literally joined today with the most points). From there look on the right hand side and you can click on top members by year and/or month.

It's that simple - really!

A painting contractor was speaking with a woman about her job.


In the first room, she said she would like a pale blue.


The contractor wrote this down and went to the window, opened it, and yelled out " green side up!"


In the second room, she told the painter she would like it painted in a soft yellow.


He wrote this on his pad, walked to the window, opened it, and yelled "green side up!"


The lady was somewhat curious, but she said nothing.


In the third room, she said she would like it painted a warm rose color.


The painter wrote this down, walked to the window, opened it and yelled "green side up!"


The lady then asked him, "Why do you keep yelling 'green side up'?"


"I'm sorry," came the reply. "But I have a crew of blondes laying sod across the street.

I just was made aware of this and wanted to get the word out to our Military Service Men and Women, as well as all our Veterans. Applebee's is offering all our Veterans and Active Duty Military Members a free meal today to honor all our Military Personal and Veterans on Veterans Day.

Applebee's will be offering six entrees on their menu to choose from, all that a Veteran or Military Service Man or Women needs to do is to provide one of following as proof of service:

• U.S. Uniform Services identification card
• U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID card
• Current leave and earnings statement
• Veterans organization card
• A photograph in uniform
• Service members may also wear their uniforms as proof of military service.

A free meal always sounds good to me, and as a Vietnam Veteran I might just take Applebee's up on this offer today. Thank you Applebee's for your show of support to all our Military Personal.

A blonde quickly went out to her mail box, looked in it, closed the door of the box, and went back in the house. A few minutes later she repeated this process by checking her mail again.

A blonde, out of money and down on her luck after buying air at a real bargain, needed money desperately. To raise cash, she decided to kidnap a child and hold him for ransom.

She went to the local playground, grabbed a kid randomly, took him behind a building, and told him, "I've kidnapped you."

She then wrote a big note saying, "I've kidnapped your kid. Tomorrow morning, put $10,000 in a paper bag and leave it under the apple tree next to the slides on the south side of the playground. Signed, A blonde."

The blonde then pinned the note to the kid's shirt and sent him home to show it to his parents. The next morning the blonde checked, and sure enough, a paper bag was sitting beneath the apple tree. The blonde looked in the bag and found the $10,000 with a note that said, "How could you do this to a fellow blonde?"
