BOUNTIFUL SUNFLOWERS!

YOU'VE GOT TO LOVE THESE THINGS!

Last spring I gave out many packs of sunflower seeds to my friends, family and clients, through a mailing. As I drive through my neighborhood and by my family and friends homes, I see these mammoth flowers in bloom and I am proud of this harvest. I've seen a lot of these people through out the summer months who have expressed that "my sunflowers are coming up.....they are going to be huge!"

These seeds grew into 10 foot beauties! And the seeds in these flowers feed the birds... What more could you ask for!

I personally have been planting these things for years. I haven't found a flowering seed that is so easy to sow as these.

In Connecticut today, the sun is shining and it is in the mid 60's. Warmer weather is finally here! Our nights have been in the 20's! Thank goodness, summer is around the corner! Today is National Walk Day, so try to walk for thirty minutes today. It will be good for your heart, health and it will clear your head. Sometimes, a good breath of fresh air does wonders for you:)

I walk every day with my lab, Jack. He looks forward to his time outdoors everyday. I look at his excitement, when I walk near the door and just have to take him. He greets other walkers with his tail wagging away. His way of smiling:) My neighbors have seen him grow from a two month old puppy, to a well behaved young lab. I have taken him in the evening hours, the stars are beautiful on a clear night. Walk, meet your neighbors, maybe, you'll find a walking partner in one of them!

Whenever you can fit it in, go for a walk, take a deep breath and live a healthy life!
