If you are looking to still take in some fun before the cold weather sets in this weekend. Here is your opportunity to partake in the *first* Connecticut River Music Festival.

Cromwell Riverport Park at Frisbie Landing, just opened a few months back...

and now it is time to celebrate this occassion, and what better way then with LOCAL music and musicians. No where else in Cromwell can you be closer to the CT River and celebrate in such a large venue.

The day promises to be filled with lots of activities, and entertainment such as...

Mindful Percussion, Jennifer Hill and Co., One Trip Garden, The Magic of David Martin, AMORA "The Spiritual Girl", The Conduit, Connect Beats DJ's, Mad Orchid, Scharisma, EMPIRE featuring Kris Keyes, healing/visual arts exhibition and more creative surprises.

There will be food vendors from the area as well.. such as The Picnic Basket, La Piastra, Melilli's Pizza, Danny's Dogs, and Sheikh's Shish-Kabobs. Thre will also be art/craft/visual vendors to include Henna/Body Art/Face Painting. Reiki/Holistic Arts and so much more.

The price for this days event is $10 for adults and children under 10 $5.00 (with an accompany adult) and you will receive a wristband for this (you can purchase your ticket now before they are sold out)

VOTING WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE HIGH SCHOOL

CROMWELL CT

This does NOT occur often, but on September 15th, when it came to voting for the Democratic nominees for the board of selectman for the town of Cromwell in CT, there was a tie between Stephen E. Bayley and Anthony A. Varricchio Sr. Both received 305 votes each.

Now it is time to make your decision between these two nominees. This post is to REMIND for all 3,267, approx, registered Democrats of Cromwell CT to come back to the polls and....

VOTE!!!

The run-off is being held tomorrow, Tuesday, October 6th at the high schoolin Cromwell CT. You will have a chance to cast your vote for either Tony Varricchio or Stephen Bayley. Voting will be going on all day... The polls will be open at Cromwell High School from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. So, you can come out before or after work... there are no excuses.

JUST REMEMBER... IN ORDER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND GET YOUR VOICE HEAR... YOU MUST

FAMILY GAME NIGHT in CROMWELL CT

This was such a great hit back in March that the town is hosting another "Family Game Night". Looking to spend more quality time with your family? The Recreation Department of Cromwell CT is sponsoring this semi-annual FAMILY GAME NIGHT at the townhall gym, this coming Friday.

Bring the whole family, or come by yourself. Children 12 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult. So, come and have some fun. There will be donated prizes for the winners.

This is a very popular event, and is limited to the town of Cromwell only. Just you have a few more days to register... don't miss out on this opportunity to have fun with the family. Pre-registration is required by October 5th.. WHICH IS TODAY!! Not miss out.
