A Waterbury Connecticut First Time Home buyer’s Dream Came true. A First Time Homebuyer wanted to own a home of their own so that their 2 sons would have a yard to play in and have a sense of comfort and stability.
They walked in on an Open House I had at another listing, but didn’t find that home to be the right one. A 2 year search still hadn’t found the right home. Their previous agent kept showing them homes out of their comfort range financially.
As they talked about their dream, we got better familiarized with their needs and desires. We exhausted the homes in their prime search area, and even their style, which was a raised ranch. Then I sent them to do a drive by of this home at 320 Peach Orchard Road in Waterbury CT, and they fell in love. Six weeks after we first met, they had a home under contract.
Hardwood floors, large rooms, finished play room. Although the home was almost 40 years old, they were going to be the second owners. The kids have a private yard, and their own pool foir swiming.

They may well be in this home for 40 years for all the comforts it offers.
If you’re a First time home buyer looking in the Great Waterbury CT area for real estate, I make dreams come true. You can’t have this Waterbury CT home, but I’m positive I can find you one just as nice.
Call me at 203-206-0754, and well get going to fulfill your dream.

October 1 & 2 was the weekend for area golfers to try and make a Hole in One with the winners being local underprivileged youngsters from area towns that get to attend summer camp.
The Greater Waterbury Campership fund has made it possible for participating towns to send their applicants to camps for a week, at 19 participating camps around the state. This year there were 464 applications for camping slots. The 2011 goal is to raise $140,000 which is at the 84% mark currently.
Originally the shoot-out was scheduled for the previous weekend, but the heavy rains pushed it off a week. The qualifying rounds were at Prospect Driving Range in Prospect ,CT and JD's Driving range in Cheshire CT. For $10, golfers got 6 balls to try and place within a 20 FT circle about 125 yards out.
The closest 8 contenders would get a chance on October 2 to hit one ball and get it in the cup at the #7 hole at nearby Highland Greens Golf Course.
Prizes for this event were respectable, with a brand new Hyundai Elantra for whomever hit the first Hole in One on Sunday at Highland Greens. The consolation prizes, if no one hit the hole were for closest to the pin, and were rounds of golf at many of the local private golf courses, which in itself would be worth the time.
I spent my time on Sat, but was not able to make the finals on Sunday as business took a priority.

Throughout my RE/MAX career, I have always been a Miracle Agent. That doesn't mean that it was a miracle if I sold a home. Being a Miracle Agent in the RE/MAX System, means that I choose to make a donation to the Miracle Home System from the proceeds of my commission.
These donations are used to fund special programs at the nearest Children's hospital, which in this case is the Children's wing at Hartford Hospital. All donations are used locally, and are used wisely. All donations above $25. will have a card sent out to the person we designate.

I take an equal amount and donate to the Susan G Komen Foundation. This is to fund a cure for breast cancer, which hits very close to home for me.
As the Komen Foundation send nothing out, I end up sending a letter to my clients, letting them know that a donation was sent in their name.
I have sent out a lot of letters over the years, because the donations have totaled thousands of dollars. My clients are appreciative, but more importantly, I feel good.
This transaction was especially rewarding, not only because of the completed transaction, but also because it was a short sale transaction that cruised through the process and a family was given a new start. It's days like this where I sleep a little better at night.
