The Little Creek Fire Company ladies auxiliary will sponsor a sale sub, build your own sub on Friday, November 13th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the fire company social hall. Choose your favorite items and build your own sub. Cost is $6 each. Orders of 6 or more is eligible for free delivery to place of business. Proceeds will benefit the Little Creek Laides Auxiliary. Organizations concerned with swine flu H1N1 safety this Halloween have some tips to pass along.  The Red Cross says be careful in handling any halloween treats. Watch out for loose candy, don't allow children to reach into bowls of candy, and keep hands away from eyes, nose and mouth. If trick-or-treaters must use your doorbell or a door handle, wipe off the surfaces  often with a disinfectant.

As for general safety, PLEASE use costumes that are light colored and ensure that they are short enough to avoid tripping. Children should carry flashlights and be accompanied by an adult. Wait until treats are examined by an adult before opening or consuming them.

On Sat. November 7th, from 10-2 stop by for a hot cup of soup and a chicken salad sandwich. They will also be having a bake sale. The orders will be picked up at the Frederica Fire house on the South side of the building.

All orders must be placed by no later than November 3th, 2009
