Read Aloud Delaware will hold its first charity golf tournament at Baywood Greens in Long Neck Delaware on September 19, 2011. Play will begin at 1:00 with registration starting at noon. It will be a scramble format.

Go Red Luncheon and Fashion Show

Mark your calendars now for September 14, 2011. Baywood Greens Clubhouse is the place and doors open at 11:15AM. This event will benefit The Anerican Heart Association and is sponsored by Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. The event is in its fifth year.

Cost for the luncheon and fashion show is $25. Your choice of Trio Salad Platter (chicken, tuna and egg), grilled chicken sandwich or vegetable panini (portabello mushroom).

Clothing fashions are from Twila Farrell, Peebles, Something Comfortable and Beebe Medical Center Auxilliary's Treasure Chest Thrift Shop. A silent auction and chinese auction will also be parts of the event.

Nanticoke Indian Annual Powwow will be held in its usual meeting spot outside Millsboro, near Long Neck area, this year on Sept 12 & 13 2009.

All different tribes, different types of dances, much food & craft for sale, always a great time & especially for those of us who have the blood in us.
