The other day I noticed its time for new tires or as the kids call them "Sneakers" on the front of my car. Now im out showing houses or going to listings almost everyday so I wear them down pretty quick.

Like everyone else im looking for great service at a fair price.
I found that at Delaware Tire Center in Newark Delaware!
http://www.delawaretire.com/index.htm
One of the cool things about their site is you can find out what size tire your car needs by its make and model and shop around. I did and found their prices to be lower then other places, I saved about $65.00 on 2 tires and they were done in about a hour. Car rides great and I will be back in a few months to purchase 2 tires for the rear.

Motor Vehicles Are Restricted On Roads Starting At 10 pm
Governor Jack Markell declared a State of Emergency covering the entire state of Delaware effective at 8:00 pm today, with vehicles ordered off the roads as of 10 p.m.
Conditions are expected to intensify with heavy snowfall and strong winds that will make driving exceptionally dangerous. Given the anticipated strength of this storm, DelDOT crews are expected to concentrate on major arteries for plowing, initially leaving many secondary roads unattended.

As of 10 p.m. tonight and until further notice, the emergency declaration allows only emergency vehicles and essential personnel on the roads until further notice. The Governor will evaluate the conditions of the roads after the storm passes on Saturday morning to determine how long this restriction will remain in place. Private sector businesses are strongly urged to consider the safety of their employees and the restriction of travel during the storm when deciding whether to remain operating. Abandoned vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense.
"For your safety, the safety of our emergency personnel, and the safety of all Delawareans, drivers should stay off the roads once this storm begins and intensifies," Markell said. "Our state agencies have been working together to prepare for and combat the effects of this storm. Remaining off the roads helps them in this effort and is important to public safety."
The Emergency Operations Center of the Delaware Emergency Management Agency has been activated, National Guard personnel and equipment have been placed around the state to be used if needed for emergency transportation and rescues, and plans are being made between emergency managers and the American Red Cross to open shelters throughout the state should the need arise.

Over the weekend I had the chance to attend a birthday party at the Fred Rust Ice Arena on the University of Delaware Campus. This arena along with a couple more in the area are home to many World Class skaters who come to train with the best coaches in the sport.
We didnt see anyone famous but we sure had a blast!
There was also a visit from this guy!
The prices were reasonable and the crowd was friendly, directions below.
FROM I-95: Take Exit 1B, heading toward the University of Delaware Stadium on Route 896. Go through four lights. At the fifth light, turn right into the David M. Nelson Sports Complex. The Rust Ice Arena is the building to your left after making the turn.

Learn from me, I've been ripped off over $2,500 in online scams. One was for an invention company called Davison Design & Development, Inc.
I did get a puny $20 check back from the Federal Trade Commission since it was determined that the company was enticing consumers with false claims about their invention promotion operation.
If you wish to read more visit: http://www.Ftc.gov/opa/2008/07/davison.shtm
Now this is not the first time I was ripped off online!
The first time was from a guy who I thought was helping me build a radio station , I sent him like $1,500 dollars and was planning on sending him more money for radio equipment to build a licensed radio station. Well turns out I never recieved my products and also did research and found out "Darin Ward" was an online con artist and was prosocuted and put in jail....well GULP no money back for me and I was out! I originally bought the products at www.pmp3.net which at the time was a broadcast website... It was taken down shortly after I made the purchase... well You betcha I was conned out of my hard earned money!
Be careful especially these days! Do you homework and I was told to always purchase through paypal or VISA as purchases are protected! Well I learned my lesson and that was a few years ago.
Just be smart when you buy online - Learn from me!
Do your homework and make sure the company has a good reputation!
Since I've been burned I've researched every company I buy from and have not had any problems since!
I'm sure some of you may have a similar story to share.
I know many people these days are Running Low On Money & I can only imagine that the scam artists are only getting smarter with conning people out of money so just always do your homework when you buy online!
If you have any tips feel free to post them here so others don't get ripped off online!
I just thought I would take this time to warn everyone to be careful as money really doesn't grow on trees!
Thanks,
Tom Davis

HomePath by Fannie Mae is making housing affordable, year old program showing success for buyers to own!
Foreclosure is sometimes the only option for a homeowner, and when Fannie Mae is owner of the mortgage it quickly and efficiently attempts to sell the property in order to minimize the impact on the local community. Fannie Mae has a database of properties it owns through foreclosure, deed in lieu of foreclosure or forfeiture, including single family homes, condominiums and townhomes in a variety of neighborhoods.
The sales prices may vary substantially and the homes can be in various stages of condition, from relatively new to requiring extensive repairs. Though Fannie Mae may make some repairs to increase marketability of its homes, a buyer should be aware that Fannie Mae sells its properties "as is" and does not accept any responsibility to fix problems after settlement. Neither does Fannie Mae warrant or guarantee any work that may have been done on the property.
This is where the services of a qualified Fannie Mae Realtor are essential to helping you navigate the many possible pitfalls of purchasing a foreclosed home.
A real estate professional with expertise in the local real estate market can help you find the best home at the most attractive price and financing.
