Around 3 months ago I was introduced to a book by my Realtor friend Pat Renna. Pat insisted that I immediately go out and obtain a copy of "The Energy Bus", which she described as an easy read and that I would be thanking her for the suggestion at a later time. The author is an inspirational expert named Jon Gordon who is located in SW Florida. This business fable is around 200 pages and can EASILY be read in 2-3 evenings as it's very gripping and you won't want to put it down. It's a story about a man who is down on his job as well as his marriage. At the beginning of the book he is introduced to a bus driver named Joy who, along with some of the passengers on the bus, help him refocus on his life's priorities and direct him toward success via positive energy. The book is AMAZING! I read it twice in 1 week and went out and purchased all of Jon Gordon's other books ("The No Complaining Rule", "Traininig Camp" and "The Shark and The Goldfish"). I have researched other comments regarding this book and it consistently receives 4.5-5 stars. GO OUT AND PURCHASE THIS BOOK, IT MAY CHANGE YOUR LIFE! If you are looking to be inspired and would like a quick and easy read, all of his books are for you. Start with "The Energy Bus" and then work your way through the rest of the books, you'll be glad you did. Also, keep an eye out for "Soup", his latest book which is due out in the middle of the year.

Now is the time to prevent something that will really hurt the real estate market in many areas. The banks and if need be the Federal Government need to prevent thousands of people from walking away from their homes all at the same time.
Sooner or later more and more people are going to realize that most banks really don't give loan modifications. They are also going to realize that maybe it may not be so smart to try to do the right thing and try to stay in their present home. The banks have a chance to prevent this massive walk away or they will suffer the consequences along with us, the taxpayers.

One of the benefits of such a great climate is to have the opportunity to host the Super Bowl often. What a great benefit to South Florida as the whole area is packed with people getting ready to enjoy the game!
Many of these people are getting a chance to see what a great place South Florida is to live in and some are taking some time to look at some properties. The restaurants, hotels and recreational activities are all getting a nice boost in business and Sunday should be a great game.

Pet Friendly Communities in Boca Raton - The Questions to Ask Before You Buy A Home in the Boca Raton/Delray Beach area
Do you know the questions to ask if Rosie or Budha or Coco will be accepted in one of the gated communities or condos in Boca Raton? Before you sign that contract of sale, please read this post and ask these questions. You don't want to find yourself owning a home you love only to be told the community or condo doesn't accept pets or that your beloved pet is not welcome. Sad to say, but this can and does happen.
Why, you ask? Some of the ads and listings say "pet friendly communities." What exactly does that mean? Does it mean the community or subdisision allows dogs ? Do they allow one dog with a maximum weight restriction of up to 20 lbs or 25 lbs? Do they allow one dog with a maximum weight restriction of up to 60 lbs? Are two dogs allowed? What are the weight restrictions for them? Are three dogs allowed?

Are there breed restrictions? Very often there are breed restrictions in gated communities in Boca Raton. If you have what is considered a restricted breed, they are referring to pit bulls, rottweilers and, depending on the commmunity, there may be some other breeds involved. Please plan on buying a house on a street and not in a gated community. Gated communities and even some non-gated communities have breed restrictions. A house on a street is a safe bet.
It's entirely possibly in Boca Raton, Delray Beach or the south Florida area that if you see pet restrictions they may be referring to one cat only.
Please don't try to sneak your dog in. Someone will undoubtedly see or hear him or her. Even if they don't go outside, they bark. If you have just one neighbor who is not an animal lover, you're bound to have problems with the homeowners or condo association. Why do you want problems as soon as you move in?
If it says one dog, two are not allowed. Some associations on occasion make an exception but this is rare and not to be counted on. The condo associations or homeowners associations make their rules. It if says one dog up to 25 lbs maximum, they are not going to take your 80 lb lab.
There are gated communities and condos in Boca Raton that are truly pet friendly that will fit your needs and gladly welcome Sandy, Zen and Max. You want to be comfortable in your new home and not have neighbors staring at you because your dog weighs 3 lbs too much.
Boca Raton is pet friendly. If you know the right questions to ask before you buy a home in one of the gated communities or condos, and you know where to go. To view pet friendly homes in Boca Raton, Delray Beach or any of the surrounding areas, please contact me.
