As they say, we've come a long way baby. Costco in Boca Raton FL now sells gas! It wasn't that long ago that the residents of Boca Country Club were upset about Costco moving in across the street. Once they were promised there would be no sign outside and lots of lush landscaping, it was a go.

It's been several years now and Costco has turned into one of the busiest stores in Boca Raton. Stop by any day of the week, any hour of the day and see for yourself. And now they sell gas too!

Boca Country Club is a gated community made up of condos, villas, townhomes and single family homes. It is one of only a few country clubs in Boca that does not require an equity membership. It is optional if you want to become a member of the club. Boca Country Club is one of the prettiest, most serene gated communities in Boca Raton, in my opinion.

Boca Country Club is also a pet-friendly community, not always easy to find in Boca Raton! Currently there are28 homes for sale in Boca Country Club. Pricing starts at $ 223,900 and goes to $ 459,000. Square footage runs approximately 1450 to 2600.

Interesting to note that across the street from Boca Country Club is the new Costco. It was originally in Delray Beach. Costco wanted to move to this location. Boca Country Club fought it but lost. The story, as I have heard it, is that in order for it to pass, there is no sign in front and they spent $ 1,000,000 to landscape. True or not - you decide. All I know, is that it's one of the busiest places in Boca Raton!
