Located in Duval County-east of I95 and south of Butler Blvd, this gated community consists of single family homes between 2000 and over 4000 square feet on approximately half acre home sites. Construction of the first homes began in 1999 and continued through 2004. Approximately 380 families currently call James Island home.

Tomorrow is the big race day here in Jacksonville & the beaches - it's the annual 26.2 with Donna End Breast Cancer half and full marathons!
There will be road closures, and detours, and everyone is prepared; watching the preparations is interesting: there are cars from the auto sponser dotting one main course, J. Turner Butler (which us locals call JTB), and portable faciliites set up.
The race starts at 6:30am and everyone should be in from the course by 2pm. Here's the link to the race route, so you can plan appropriately.
Congrats to all the runners, and dress warm; we are going to have cold temps in the AM!

Located in Duval County-West of I295 and just north of the Duval/Clay County Line, the community of mostly single family homes was begun in the early 1980’s and construction of new homes continues at this time.
Note: 50 PERCENT OF THOSE SOLD IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS OCCURRED IN THE PAST 30 DAYS. This appears to be a huge progress indicator for our market.
