Nassau County Florida Real Estate Statistics for March 2008. All information includes residential listings, condominiums, commercial property and land. For the month of March there were 1,902 properties listed for sale. 64 properties closed in the month. 52 properties went under contract and there were 241 new listings for March. Above is February's statistics for the Nassau County Florida area. All residential, commercial and land listings are included in the statistics above.
There were 1,937 Homes listed for sale in February. 69 Homes went under contract in February. 31 Homes sold in February. There were 264 New Listings in February.
We are still in a buyer's market in Nassau County because of the amount of inventory of homes for sale, but there was almost a 50% increase in homes that have gone under contract this month in comparison with January's numbers. If you are considering purchasing a home ~ now is the time to do it while the inventory of homes for sale is high.

Thank you to all that attended our "Economic Forecast For 2008" presentation at the Board of REALTORS this week. We had a tremendous turn out for our first event.
I owe a thank you to my "Team" members, Paul Werling, Juliana Miller & Joe DeMarco. A special thanks goes out to Ben Stephens & Alan Vanderheiden of B.Stephens Mortgage and Nick Edwards of Pension Management as presenters. Their knowledge and expertise in the lending arena and in finance were a great addition to my presentation of the real estate market.
We have since received several request to speak at individual real estate offices and non profit organizations. The information was formated from National speaker Steve Harney and we were pleased to see that it was so timely for this current market and so well received.
We were able to offer some great statistics and I encourage everyone to please send me any national or local statistics, charts or web sites that we may be able to include in our future presentations. Knowledge is critical at this point and we find that not only professionals in the real estate industry but the public, as well, is eager to find out future projections and facts.
