There is a major difference between achievers and the average person. The difference is how they view failure.

Achievers approach the negative experience of failure and look at the situation as a learning experience and fail forward. They look to turn the experience around and seek out solutions and the opportunities.

The achievers see the failure as a temporary condition and apply what they have learned to move them closer to their objective.

The average person looks at failure as permanent and focuses on the failure which doesn't allow them to move forward.

No matter challenging a problem is achievers find a way to overcome them fail forward and move on.

Most sellers have self serving reasons to price their properties high: they need the money to buy something else or invest, their "real estate expert" friend told them it was worth $$$, the home was worth $$$ in 2004-2005, they spent lots of $$$ renovating, they bought it for $$$ in 2004-2006, and the big one, they owe $$$ on it.

It is important to realize as a seller that all these reasons are irrelevant to the buyers. Today, and thanks to the internet, buyers do their homework and work with good agents.

Although the supply of properties may appear high in Boca Raton, buyers are having a hard time finding a properly priced condo or home that suits them. These buyers are patient and will wait for that motivated seller to list or will make what they believe is a fair offer to that unreasonable seller and walk away if they cannot come to an agreement.
