The Veterans Council of St Johns County will be honoring its veterans at a special event coming up very shortly on Sunday November 6th. This year we are at a new, larger venue, Anastasia Baptist Church at 1650 A1A South., St Augustine.

This free event is open to the public, tickets are not needed and there is plenty of onsite free parking. Doors will open at 1:30 pm and there will be a display of over 20 veterans related tables, the Traveling Vietnam Wall and a singer performing live on stage songs from the World War II era. All this is before the show starts.

The show will start at 2:30 pm that will be honoring ex POWs. See the primier of a locally produced documentary featuring 4 ex POWs who will all be in attendance. The show will also have patriotic entertainment with Dr. Roger Geronimo performing a patriotic medley and the St. Augustine Community School of Performing Arts singing the service anthems.

Special Davis Shores Open House
Saturday Nov. 5^th 2012

Cooperating area real estate brokers invite you to a community Open House in Davis Shores today, Saturday Nov 5^th, from 1-4pm.

The instructor for this course was Mr. Bruce Aydt, Esq., who is also a REALTOR®. He is one of three (3) co-trainers for the National Association of REALTORS® Mediation Training program. This model of mediation provides local and state associations with a framework for their mediation programs. It also allows the associations to effectively embrace and provide mediation as a valuable additional dispute resolution tool. It is designed to provide a high quality mediation process for the effective resolution of disputes.

The advantages of mediation are: the process is private; the parties have complete control over the outcome; it is confidential; and that the mediator is an experienced facilitator familiar with real estate practice and custom.

Taylor has successfully completed all requirements of this mediation training program and may be recognized by their local Association as a Mediator.

“This specialized training gave me a greater insight into the dynamics of an effective mediation. During this extensive instruction, I further honed my negotiating skills that will benefit my customers, buyers and sellers of homes in St. Augustine,” shared Taylor.
