About Dunedin's Higland Woods

Thank you! Thank you Activerain! I wrote a hyper local post on Highland Woods, a subdivision in our area, on 4/27/2010. I added some photos I had taken and a map. As a side note, whenever I am out and about- which is most every hour of every day, my trusty camera is with me! I take photos of entry signs, community centers, pools, homes in the area.... you get the drift....and log them away.

Then- this is where it gets really good- on 5/13/2010, I got an email. It was from Patti Ewald, a St. Petersburg Times Correspondent. This was sent as a direct message from Activerain so I KNOW this is where she found me. She said she was writing an article on Highland Woods and would like to interview me for the article. Could I meet her at the subdivision, give her the grand tour and asked for some contact information to the Homeowners Association? " Yes , of course I could! I would be most happy to accomodate ."

We met the next morning and walked the neighborhood together. Patti and I looked inside a few of the homes for sale. I gave her the requested information. This past Saturday, the article was FRONT PAGE - in color - on the Homes section of the St. Petersburg Times. I was quoted several times in the article.

For those of you who don't live in the area, the St. Petersburg Times is one of two major daily newspapers in the area. It is the big dog! You just can't buy advertising like that. Plus as the link shows it will be on the St. Petersburg Times website forever! So guys and gals, get out your keyboards, get out your cameras and blog away for that delicious Google Juice.....you just never know who might be reading!

Highland Woods-Dunedin Florida
