Dunedin Florida has some of the most beautiful beaches you will find on the Gulf of Mexico! And if that isn't enough, it also has some of the most sought after condo complexes!!!

These condos are on the causeway that leads out to Honeymoon Island, which is a beautiful state run park. When I was a kid the only way out there was by boat, but there is a causeway now that takes you right out to these beautiful beaches!!!

The city of Dunedin is researching the alternative to building a new biosolid treatment plant that would be less expensive and beneficial for both the city coffers and the environment. The city recently applied for a $2.6 million grant to test a space age technology. This new technology would transform the biosolid sludge into an alternative fuel.
The city would have to match the grant with $100,000. of it's own funds in order to have the biosolid treatment system called Plasma Arc Flow built. The system would be built by a Tarpon Springs firm called MagneGas Corporation. The system would be ready to begin operation in September 2010 and would run for 12 to 15 months and then go through a period of evaluation.
More and more communities are getting on the eco band-wagon and I am pleased to see that our own city of Dunedin is right in front!
