About Estero's Miromar Lakes

I had some help while inspecting. This beautiful dragonfly flew up and it seemed like he hung in midair until I could focus my camera and snap this (and a couple other) pictures. The property I was inspecting is on a large freshwater lake which is where these guys begin their life.

I looked up the history of the dragonfly and found out they have been here for 300 million years. Their eyes have many lenses, and they can turn their head almost completely around. Their wings can move as many as 28 times per second, with speeds up to 60mph. It was nice of him to pose long enough for me to capture his beauty.

Miromar Lakes will host the Southwest Florida Wine & Food Fest.

Get your tickets and help out a great cause which is the Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. Other beneficiaries are Edison State College Pediatric Nursing Program.

February 27^th – 28^th 2009 are the dates and the location of festivities is the luxurious Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club. Chef Vinters Dinners will be held Friday the 27^th of February at locations throughout Miromar Lakes residences. If the dinner isn’t possible, then a must would be tickets to Saturday’s grand tasting and auction that are $300 person.
The Silver Oaks Cellars is the signature wine and other fine wineries are Verite, Domaine Serene, Fisher Vineyards, BR Cohn, V Madrone, Jonata Winery, Ponzi, Andrew Geoffrey, Carric Cellars, Cakebread Cellars.
