FORECLOSURES in Amelia National Fernandina
Well, here is more proof that economic hardship does not discriminate. Even the prestigious Tom Fazio Championship Golf Club Community of Amelia National is showing an abundance of foreclosure homes.
But what an opportunity! Homes that were once $500,000 and above are now going for the low $200's...and they are no less gorgeous. The community is comprised of reputable builders like ICI, David Weekly, and American Home Builders. The size and style of the homes are unmatched, as is the community itself. There is nothing quite like it in the mainland Fernandina area.

Living "off of The Island," as we say it locally, is advantageous, especially for commuters. Amelia National is just a short 7 mile drive from Interstate I-95 south to Jacksonville or North to Kings Bay Naval Base in Georgia. And although it's tucked in the middle of the very small almost-rural town of Yulee, Amelia National is full of style and entertainment. Its private restaurant and bar is always busy with social gatherings, happy hour parties, and golfers.

You'll hardly ever stop by this club without seeing someone you know. It's such a fun place to spend the evening after a long work day. Of course, just driving into Amelia National will take a load off of your mind! Immediately you will find yourself immersed in the rolling greens, the open sky, the towering pine trees, and the sparkling lakes. That's why Amelia National is more of a lifestyle than a neighborhood. If you are still looking for an active, social and very luxurious lifestyle, then Amelia National is probably the community for you.

Of course a community so nice and a deal so irresistible has to come with a catch, right? Well, here it is: the annual fees. Living in Amelia National is going to cost you more than other nearby communities. But that could be expected in such a community, and it certainly rules out the Average Folks. From our own estimates, the total cost of annual Homeowners Association dues, Community Development District (CDD) fees, social membership, and food & beverage dues at the club house will run nearly $6,000 per year.
However, if paying more for the prestige and privacy are of no concern to you, take advantage of these foreclosure sales quickly. They don't last long, and have become very popular with out-of-town "shoppers" who are moving south to sunny Florida!
Many of these Fernandina foreclosure homes are new, never-lived-in, or almost new. No expense was spared in upgrades and they are in much better condition than the typical Florida foreclosure home. Most of the foreclosure homes for sale are more than 2500-3000 sq ft and built between 2006-2008.
