It all started with Marsha. She was the Town Manager of Fort Myers Beach, Florida forever, until Hurricane Charlie struck. She refused to allow residents of Fort Myers Beach, including homeowners and business owners, to return to the Island. She was demonized by the citizens and fired by Town Council. Applicants for a new Town Managers were sought and the Town Council selected several finalists. The winner was named. What was his name again? He remained very quiet at council meetings and quit after a few months. He never even moved his family to Fort Myers Beach. Jack Green of Public Works was then selected as interim Town Manager. Another search was on for a permanent Town Manager and Scott Janke was the man. Unfortunately, he was fired by Council when it was discovered that his wife was an actress who starred in porn films. Jack Green was again selected as interim Town Manager with the idea that he stay on as permanent Town Manager. But, Jack said no, thank you, and a search for a new Town Manager is on again. So, if you are looking for a job . . . . ..
