Pebble Bay Estates in Vero Beach Florida

Debbie Bell Vero Beach Real Estate: Real Estate Agent in Vero Beach, FL

Pebble Bay Estates in Vero Beach Florida is a wonderful place to live on the barrier island. It is the oldest subdivision in Indian River Shores. It is west of A1A so it really is in Indian River Shores but many people like me use Vero Beach on our mailing address. Pebble Bay Estates is on the Treasure Coast in Indian River County. I love Pebble Bay it is not a cookie cutter subdivision. All the homes were custom built with larger than normal lots. The homes owners take pride in there property and it showsThe neighbhors are friendly. It’s a nice mix of young families and retired couples. Lots of the owners have dogs so it is very animal friendly.

It is walking distance to CVS and 7/11 which makes it very convenient when you need a loaf of bread or bottle of milk. The public beach is again walking distance right across the street. You can walk from your house to the board walk and back which is about 3 miles. If you like to ride your bike you can go to the barber bridge which is about 2.5 miles then walk the bridge which is a mile each way. So total exercise is 7 miles which is a wonderful way to start out the day and if you’re lucky you may see dolphins while walking the bridge.

Getting back to Pebble Bay its all about the lifestyle and quality of life. It really nice is you work downtown on the island. Lots of great restaurants and the hotels are less than 2 miles away.

Once you enter Pebble Bay Circle in Vero Beach Florida you can make a right which is Pebble Bay Circle or Lt is Pebble Bay South. Many of the homes are located on the water and some have fabulous views. The fees are low $350 a year which covers common area. The deed restriction is the same for Indian River Shores such as all garages are on the side .It is not a gated community.

Waterfront Homes in Vero Beach Florida

Debbie Bell Vero Beach Real Estate: Real Estate Agent in Vero Beach, FL

Waterfront homes in Vero Beach Florida are a great choice. Vero Beach is a fabulous location. You’re on the Treasure coast in Indian River County. Vero is about 1 hour and 20 minutes to the West Palm Beach airport and about 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Orlando Airport. Vero has a mainland and also a barrier island. As you can imagine most of the most expensive homes are on the island.

There are many waterfront homes in Vero Beach Florida to choose from. You have to be aware when buying a waterfront home in Vero that there are area that have deep water and others are very shallow. It behooves you to hire someone to check the water depth if that’s important to you.

On the island there are many waterfront communities in Vero Beach. On the south end of the island you have the Moorings where most of the waterfront homes are on deep water and is closer the to Fort Pierce inlet which makes easier access to the ocean. The Anchor in the Mooring is guarded and is man made in the shape of an anchor. Other waterfront homes in Vero Beach that have some areas of deep water include Pebble Bay, parts of Cache Cay and areas behind Village Beach Market.

There are other communities with waterfront homes in Vero Beach Florida such as Riomar Bay, John’s Island, Castaway Cove, Orchid Island Estate and Marsh Island.

There are numerous oceanfront homes to pick from. Some of my favorite beaches are in Castaway Cove and Seagrove. If buying an oceanfront home you really need to check out the beach and your insurance before purchasing.

For waterfront homes in Vero on the mainland you have the fingers which are called Vero Most of the homes are older but it’s a great location between both bridges and minutes to the beach and shopping.

The least expensive waterfront homes in Vero Beach are in Vero Shores and they have deep water. Next to that community is River which is a newer waterfront community with Key West Style homes with deep water
