The Bear’s Club was founded in 1999 by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, whose vision was to create a world class golf club for those who share high standards and the love of the game. The club sits on 40,000 acres of pristine land, featuring an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, 40,000 square foot Tuscan-style clubhouse, 17 Golf Villas, 14 Club Cottages, 13 Vintage Estate Homes, and 55 estate residences. The Bear’s Club is a fine private golf club, and truly unique experience.

The Bear's Club was named Travel & Leisure Golf's list of "America's Top 100 Golf Communities" in 2007 and is recognized as one of the world's elite private club experiences.

Just listed late yesterday in the Bears Club for $5,900,000 the home built in 2006 features 6,704 livable square feet with 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths on 1.3 acres on the 6th hole of The Bears Club. The home was purchased new in November of 2006 for $4,478,150 and is currently assessed for property tax purposes for $3,242,828.

So who is Filomena Tobias some may ask? Those of us here in Jupiter remember the news when her hedge fund manager husband Seth was found dead floating in the homes pool back on September 4th of 2007.
