Started by William Spear three decades ago in Boston, the company is now led by sons Jeff Spear, President and David Spear, Vice President. Jeff Spear, who has twice been named builder of the year by the Builders Association of South Florida, manages the smooth progress of homes under construction. David Spear is in charge of operations and the financial end of the company.

Every once in a great while you walk into a house that feels, well, quite perfect. You could move in without changing nary a thing. Even the wallpaper is charming, delightful, completely unexpected. That's 148 Santiago Drive, in Valencia at Abacoa.
