FishHawk Ranch is having a fund raiser for Feeding America, which is helping those in need. This "fun raiser" is being held on October 15th. It will be fun for everyone with great food, live music, and lots of fun and games. The fun starts at 9 AM with Pumpkin carving and from 10 AM until 2 PM there is a tennis tournament. Call 813.681.4000 for details. At 3pm - 7:30pm: there are lots of fun activities and games for kids of all ages including hay rides, face painting and more. Then at 5pm - 8pm there is a free concert featuring The Go Daddies. The evening concludes at 8pm with a pumpkin lighting.
Please bring a non-perishable food items for the Feeding America food drive. Food, Drink and game tickets available for cash purchase.The event will start at 9:00 AM and last until 8:00 PM at FishHawk Ranch's Town Square. Come and help out raising money for those in need! See you there.

As I work with renters in the Lithia and Valrico area, a LOT of people have the question of how important is the credit background when applying for a rental. While credit is certainly one of the factors considered, there is no blanket approach to someones credit scoring when they are being considered. Low credit scoring can come from multiple situations, some will indicate a poor renter prospect, others will not. What is really important is a strong rental history, with good references of ontime rent payment. Another important part of the equation is good utility bill payment. Most landlords understand a late payment or two on a cell phone bill, but nobody wants to see a collection fee from the electric company. Evictions will complicate things greatly, but foreclosure or short sale history really does not. At the end of the day, every prospective renter is judged on the big picture of whether or not they will be good tenants for our owners.
