Flamboyant rock and roll artist Lenny Kravitz has been chosen to redesign a much delayed luxury Miami condo. ST Residential and iStar Financial hired Kravitz to revamp the look and feel for Paramount Bay luxury condo in downtown Miami. The Paramount Bay project went into a $262 million foreclosure that sat empty until it was recently auctioned off.

Kravitz will work on several parts of the 47-story tower including the spa, fitness center, lobby, driveway area, pool terraces and green space. Sales and marketing of the 340 waterfront condos will be handled by Fortune International Realty.

Does Kravitz have design credentials? His New York-based Kravitz design firm has worked in Florida before, on the successfully received Florida Room lounge at the Delano and the swank penthouse recording studio at the Setai Resort & Residences.

No child should ever go missing or be exploited - Miami Beach polo was a great success

We had a wonderful weekend with a lot of fun, great weather and horses on the beach. The scenery was absolutely stunning and the atmosphere was amazing. The arena was stationed right between the W and the Setai Hotel.

Part of this years events' income from the ticket sales will go to “Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) which was created in 1984 by John Walsh after President Ronald Reagan signed the "Missing Children's Assistance Act.

John Walsh is the host of "America's Most Wanted" the groundbreaking TV show that's helped law enforcement capture over 1,100 dangerous fugitives and rescue more than 50 missing children since it started in 1988.

He never sought to be a TV show host, but after his son Adam was abducted in 1981 from a Sears and found murdered 2 weeks later, John Walsh turned the tragedy of all tragedies into an amazing cause that fights for victims' rights and for justice throughout the US and wherever children or crime victims need support.

John and his wife Revé had three more children after Adam: Meghan, Callahan and Hayden.

I was very lucky having gotten a chance to met this wonderful family personally when I was called in to substitute in an 8-goal polo tournament for John after he got injured in the first game. This family has done so much to fight crime and just one example is the creation of the "Amber Alert".

Their cause is very dear to my heart and I strongly believe this is a cause that we all should support.
