If you are keeping track of all the Gainesville Area Fall Festivals, I want to remind you of this one! It's my favorite every year. It's time to plan for the 36th Annual Micanopy Fall Harvest Festival.
WHEN: October 30 & October 31st.
WHERE: Cholokko Boulevard, Micanopy
TIME: Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 4pm
This is my favorite festival!
The setting is beautiful. The grand-daddy oak canopy provides great shade for over 200 vendors along Cholokko Boulevard. There's plenty of parking and it's a great way to spend the day!
Last year I found some great things for Christmas gifts, and my weakness has always been finding just the right "gotta-have" for my kitchen decor & collection in all the antique booths.
My weakness is colored glass bottles, and antique metal signs. I will be taking my mad-money with me! My son's favorite is the music and the food (of course). My sister loves the quilts and the pottery. And this is the exact street that they filmed the movie "Doc Hollywood". This festival has become a family tradition for us. Make it one of yours too!
The FOOD is great!
The MUSIC is great!
The Arts and Crafts are plentiful!
And don't forget the Antiques, Restaurants, Museums, and Shoppes!

I'll see you there!

Before we get to Trick or Treating tonight, we have the FLORIDA VS GEORGIA football game. A Classic rivalry college game with great fans and family fun in Jacksonville.
Some people have gone over to the game in Jacksonville, while others are having "get togethers" at their homes - kickoff is at 3:30pm this afternoon. The weather will be good for a great BBQ !

After the game.......
Halloween Night brings the little trick or treaters!!
One of my favorite fall festivals is this weekend in Micanopy.
