Food Lion Closing in Ormond Beach Florida
As of February 15, 2012 the last of the Food Lion Supermarkets in Volusia and FlaglerCounty will be closed.The last Flagler Beach store on Route 100 closed in 2009.In addition to the Ormond Beach store shown here at 101 E. Granada, stores in New Smyrna Beach and Port Orange are also closing. There were a total of 8 stores in the Volusia and Flagler market at one time.After February 15, 2012 there will be none.The Food Lion chain is owned by a Brussels, Belgium based company who has indicated the need to close under performing locations.

On Friday, December 9, 2011, at 6:30 p.m., the City’s Leisure Services Department and The Casements Guild will present a holiday double feature with “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” (original cartoon) and “Elf” in Rockefeller Gardens.
Come out and enjoy the movies with your friends and family!
Moving Rating: “Elf” is a PG rated movie and parents are urged to use parental guidance as the motion picture may contain some material parents might not like for their younger children to view. “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is not rated.
Rockefeller Park is a beautiful site on the Halifax River at the base of (Southeast corner) the Granada bridge.
There is ample parking nearby so bring your winter coat, blankets and lawn chairs and oh yeah, don't forget to bring the kids and enjoy a special holiday treat.
