Daytona Beach Ocean Center expansion update

The newly expanded Ocean Center in Daytona Beach Florida, Volusia County's premier convention facility, will host its first convention that will utilize the entire facility on beginning January 28, 2009. An Official grand opening will be held on February 22, 2009 from 1-5 PM. This will be a public open house featuring free refreshments and information about the facility.

October 2008 Ormond By The Sea Florida Condo Sales

Through the Daytona Beach Multiple Listing Service there were 3 condos that sold in Ormond By The Sea Florida in October, 2008. Sale prices range from $173,000 to $180,000. In October, 2007 only one Condo across the street from the beach sold and the price was $215,000. In October, 2006 2 bedroom, 2 bath Condo sale prices range from $220,000 to $285,000 for 3 Sales. There are currently 6 Condos with a Contract Pending sale in Ormond By The Sea, and 112 are for sale in the MLS. If all 6 close this month that would mean we have apporximately 19 months of inventory. A more likely scenario is that fewer will sell and the months of inventory would be higher, probably closer to 2 + years.
