Entrepreneur Magazine - Best Places to Buy Real Estate!

Palm Beach | Jupiter | Tequesta Real Estate | Sandy Pitchford: Real Estate Agent in Palm Beach Gardens, FL

While many people have discussed the downturn in the Palm Beach florida real estate market heavily in the past year in a negative way, I feel the market is finally settling down and in a position to really be a great investment area again. The location is wonderful and there really is nothing like living in sunny South Florida right next to the Beach. With the baby boomers beginning retirement the population is only going to increase and where do you think they want to retire. And as a bonus, the Job outlook is only getting better, with the new Scripps Jupiter location, Max Plank institute and all of the new retail in Palm Beach Gardens.

And that said, I'm not the only one who thinks this. Entrepreneur magazine just did a great article on the Best places to buy and bet to avoid. Palm Beach is on the list of best to BUY!

Funny thing is, Miami made the list of areas to avoid. Not really surprising, since they way overbuilt and the Job outlook isn't as good.

Here's the article, it's a pretty good read for all the investors and vacation buyers looking for good real estate destinations:

Well, its funny, everyone has been talking about how bad the market has been in Palm Beach florida area real estate. Personally, I while they prices have definitely declined from their highs in 2005, buyers are still here and the market is still selling.

I will admit, I live on the Riverfront in Jupiter and deal heavily with clients looking for Intra-coastal homes, riverfront and other mid to high end communities. So, many of the clients I work with are looking for large estate homes in the $750,000 to $5Million+ range. I guess that is part of why it's been a good year.

While the numbers for Palm Beach County came out as an overall decline, the largest, most expensive homes in the $1 Million+ range are still selling very well and are actually up significantly from last year.

I have noticed a lot of people being upset with the News Media's coverage of the real estate market, but atleast they are sharing the good with the bad. Here's the Palm Beach Post article to that effect:
